3. Mr. SIPALO’s campaign message has been focused on his promise to improve the welfare of informal sector livelihoods by enabling marketeers access to loans, improved water and sanitation in Kalikiliki, Chainda and Mtendere Compound, better trading conditions, enhanced social protection inclusivity, through Social Cash Transfer (SCT) programme, among others. Further, Mr. SIPALO has promised restore hope in the Constituency by curbing the distribution of illegal drugs and inversely provide youth skill centers to train the youths. In response, the message has been welcomed by the electorate, who have pledged to rally behind his candidature. However, some opposition voices and politically neutral residents remain cautious, viewing the messaging as aligned to the ruling party rhetoric rather than the people of Munali Constituency.
