3. Mr. MLEWA has continued to appeal to the electorate to support all adopted UPND Candidates in the forthcoming General Election. He urged supporters to become ambassadors of the Head of State and the party in order to consolidate ongoing development programmes. He further encouraged party members to support adopted candidates regardless of personal preferences, emphasizing that the interests of the party superseded those of individuals. He also advised candidates to remain accessible to the electorate after the elections and cautioned against conducting campaign activities outside established party structures. Further, Mr. MLEWA pledged to increase meal allowances for students at Evelyn Hone college. Further, during door-to-door campaigns in Bauleni Compound, reaching out to about two hundred (200) households. Mr. MLEWA urged residents to vote for him in the August 2026 General Election, assuring them that he would address challenges, such as, poor drainage systems and inadequate water reticulation. Additionally, he assured marketeers that he would prioritize market infrastructure rehabilitation, empowerment programmes and improvements to ablution facilities. Further, that he would not abandon the electorate as he had the heart for the people. In response the electorate welcomed the message and pledged to vote for him in the August, 2026 General elections.
