Manifesto / campaign priorities
15. Mr. SIMATAA has focused on alleged shortcomings of Mr. TAYENGWA, particularly, failure in infrastructure development, youth empowerment, self-centeredness and being selective with people he was working with. He also highlights his previous performance as Kamwala Ward 5 Councillor, positioning himself as a capable alternative. Meanwhile, he has intensified his campaigns against the Head of State, contending that they needed to change Government because the UPND had, among others, failed to stabilize the economy, increased infringement on human rights to citizens, tribalism and failed to foster development, a situation that raised concern among the UPND officials. His message has been well received, particularly, among those dissatisfied with the UPND adoption process.
