Manifesto / campaign priorities

Development Agenda for Mpika South Constituency As a newly created and predominantly rural constituency, Mpika South requires a focused and inclusive development agenda that improves livelihoods, expands access to essential services, and unlocks its economic potential. The vision is to build a constituency where every community has equal opportunities to prosper through quality infrastructure, human capital development, and sustainable economic growth. Key Development Priorities: Expanded Education Infrastructure: Increase classroom space, build teachers' houses, and provide adequate learning materials to reduce congestion and improve the quality of education for every child. Youth Skills Development: Invest in vocational and technical training centres that equip young people with practical skills in agriculture, construction, ICT, mechanics, tailoring, carpentry, and entrepreneurship to enhance employability and self-reliance. This development agenda seeks to transform Mpika South into a connected, secure, productive, and prosperous rural constituency where infrastructure, education, healthcare, agriculture, entrepreneurship, and private sector investment work together to improve the quality of life for every resident. Most importantly, this will only be achieved in collaboration and guidance of the UPND led government under the able leadership of His Excellence, Mr. Hakainde Hichilema and in consultation with other stakeholders, such as, the local authority, leveraging on the enhanced CDF, the Church, local and traditional leadership among others. Kennedy Chilambe, 'Inka Yamilimo, Umwina Mpika'
