Her campaign has remained focused on promoting women's leadership, youth and market empowerment, improved education, road rehabilitation, drainage improvements, street lighting and reliable water supply. She also pledged to complete developmental projects initiated during her tenure as Lusaka Mayor, presenting herself as an experienced leader capable of delivering tangible community development. The message has been received with mixed feelings by the electorate as some view the candidate as not been development-oriented, alleging that she failed to develop the City of Lusaka, while others welcomed her message with positivity.
